An expansion of lectures delivered at Holy Cross in 1996, Fr. Faros offers a diagnosis of the pathology of Christianity in the West and its implications for the growth, health, and well-being of Orthodox Christians. He severely critiques the Western model of the Church that has influenced Orthodoxy and through the writings of the Fathers, St. John Chrysostom in particular, challenges the reader to an Eastern model. Fr. Faros taught Pastoral Theology at Holy Cross. |
